Farm Aid's Homegrown Fair

Farm Aid's Homegrown Fair is a one-day celebration of farm and food efforts in New York that are building New York City's local food system. The fair will feature performances by local artists, a short stage-play about food, public testimonials from family farmers, Iron Chef for young people demonstration and other presentations. Horse-shoed around the main stage will be 11 pop-up canopies housing grass roots organizations from NYC and other parts of the state that are working to build a local, family farm fresh food system. Groups will showcase their work with hands-on, experiential activities and demonstrations.
